About Me
My name is Lindsey and I’m a counseling intern pursuing my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have 2+ years working in inpatient psychiatric care, as well as a diverse professional background that led me to find my passion for counseling. I am dedicated to empowering individuals as they set therapeutic goals and explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, which in turn helps them overcome internal obstacles, improve relationships, and deepen their self-understanding. I believe experiencing genuine empathy and psychological safety can be the seeds for healing and a fulfilling life.
Amid my own (and others around me) adversity, I have experienced how counseling can provide an inviting space to process various life events and stressors. A therapeutic relationship is dynamic and unique and involves unconditional support and feeling heard and less alone.
I have a special passion for working with newly diagnosed ADHD and the neurodivergent population. If it sounds like a fit, I would be honored to walk alongside you in your therapeutic journey!
