About Me
My name is Jordan, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapy intern pursuing my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Central Missouri. Throughout my graduate training, I have developed a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges while fostering meaningful growth and connection. I am committed to creating a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences.
I believe that healing and growth occur within the context of strong relationships. My therapeutic approach emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and understanding, allowing clients to feel heard, valued, and empowered as they work toward their goals. Whether clients are facing relationship difficulties, family conflict, life transitions, challenges related to self-esteem and identity, or the lasting effects of difficult childhood experiences, I strive to help them build on their strengths and create meaningful change.
My clinical interests include relationship dynamics, family systems, communication patterns, life transitions, and exploring how childhood experiences can shape current relationships, emotions, and one's sense of self. Through my own experiences and professional development, I have become especially interested in understanding how past wounds can influence the present and how healing can create opportunities for growth, resilience, and healthier connections with others. I am passionate about supporting clients as they heal from past experiences, develop healthier patterns, and become the best version of themselves for both their own well-being and the people they care about.
One of the things I enjoy most about this field is that there is always something new to learn. As I continue to grow into the therapist I hope to become, I strive to approach each session with curiosity, authenticity, and humility. I believe that meaningful growth happens when people feel seen, heard, and supported. I am passionate about helping individuals make sense of their experiences, heal from past wounds, and create a future that feels more aligned with who they want to be.
I look forward to meeting clients where they are, learning alongside them, and creating a space where they feel supported, understood, and empowered throughout their journey.
