About Me
Hi there! Thank you for stopping by my page. Therapy can be a powerful, liberating, and at times challenging experience. It begins by finding the right therapist for you.
You might be considering therapy because you want to heal from or process your childhood, a relationship, or negative self perception. Maybe you want to learn how to better manage daily experiences such as anger, anxiety, or overwhelm. You might be hoping to find a space where you are able to be accepted and validated just as you are. As your therapist, I believe in your power to discern your own healing and insight. I want to create a space where you are comfortable and empowered to do so. In that journey I serve as a facilitator, a sounding board, and a place where it’s safe to feel whatever you are feeling.
In my work I prioritize the therapeutic relationship first. It is important to me that from our first session you feel seen, heard, and inherently worthy. I view myself as an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and honor the diversity of folks’ lived experiences. I use a variety of approaches in my work with clients and would describe my therapeutic style as compassionate and curious. I really value getting to know all facets of you - from your favorite tv show to how you got through your toughest moments. I also love humor and believe in its power to connect and heal.

I hold my Masters of Science in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Southern Arkansas University. I moved to Kansas City from southwest Arkansas in 2021. Before becoming a therapist I worked in higher education and helped high school and college students plan for their college or career. My favorite things in life are my husband, my senior English bulldog, and my niece and nephew.
