About Me
Karlee is currently in the finishing stages of her Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling at Avila University. She has a wide range of experience working with many populations and age brackets- however, she now primarily works with children 13 and younger, with on-going training in play and art therapy practices. She also has training and experience working with children who are navigating Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Karlee’s main therapeutic approach is client-centered, as she is driven by the motto of “meeting clients exactly where they are”. Alongside of this, she incorporates many CBT techniques to not only expand and aid one’s mental wellbeing but also one’s behaviors as well. She is extremely passionate about helping individuals find balance and contentment within their lives and often uses creative outlets for self expression and exploration. Karlee believes communication is the key to success in most everything and treats her therapy sessions like a collaborative experience that promotes growth and healing in unique and individualized ways.
